SimQuest 6.4 help

 

 

Test Answer

 

A Test Answer element consists of a radio button with label attached to it. Use multiple Test Answer elements to create a multiple choice question. When you close the Test Answer editor, SimQuest will ask you the minimum and maximum amount of answers to be given.

 

Tab sheet: Basics

1.Click the Basics tab sheet.
2.In the Default Label box, type the name you want to appear next to the button.
3.If you want the label to be a picture, click Label Is Image. Click on the Browse button that appears to select an image.
4.Type the number that should be put in the test log file when this answer is selected. More information about logging of answers can be found under Basics Operations - Logging.
5.If this answer is correct, click the True check box.
6.Click Apply.

 
Tabsheet: Details

1.Click the Details tab sheet.
2.If you want to change the font, in the Font box, select a font.
3.If you want your learner to be able to use the tab-key to scroll through the answers, click the Can Tab check box.
4.If you want your the answer to be initially disabled, click the Initially Disabled check box.
5.If you want your the answer to be initially invisible, click the Initially Invisible check box.
6.Click Apply.

 

Tab sheet: Colour

1.Click the Colour tab sheet.
2.Select a colour from the palette.
3.Indicate is this colour you just selected is for the Foreground, Background, Selected Foreground or Selected Background, by clicking inside the regarding rectangle.
4.Click Apply.

 
Tab sheet: Position

Please note! Using this tab sheet to set the position is optional. Instead of dragging and resizing, you can use the Position tab sheet to specify relative and absolute positions.

 

1.Click the Position tab sheet.
- Left, Top, Right, an Bottom, refer to the four sides of the element.
- Relative Position refers to the position on the window, where the maximum left and top side of the window refer to 0, and the maximum right and bottom side of the window refer to 1.
- Offset refers to the amount of pixels from the top-left corner of the window.
2.Determine the relative position of the left (X) and top (Y) side of the element by typing values between 0 and 1 in the appropriate Relative Position boxes.
3.Determine the relative position of the center of the element by typing values between 0 and 1 in the appropriate arrow-X and arrow-Y Relative Position boxes.
4.Determine the size of the element by typing the amount of pixels in the appropriate Offset boxes.
5.Click Apply.
